Biography
At the age of 12, Jack unwittingly determined his fate by learning to juggle three tennis balls. He immediately fell in love with this new skill and began practicing several hours a day. Somewhat of a math/science prodigy, Jack went to Carnegie Mellon University to study Mechanical Engineering. Between studies, he continued to practice his juggling skills. After graduation, Jack landed a dream job at IBM Research working in robotics. On weekends, however, Jack began to develop and perform his comedy act. After a year of this double life, he quit IBM and became an entertainer. Since 1989, Jack's talents have taken him around the world, performing more than 3,000 shows in over 200 cities. In addition to his solo shows, from 1989-99 he performed as half of the juggling duo, CLOCKWORK. His performances include an impressive list of cruise ships, theaters & casino showrooms, corporate events, colleges, and television shows around the world. Early in his juggling career, Jack earned respect in the juggling community, winning three gold medals from the International Jugglers Association. Jack still loves to attend jugglers' conventions around the world, teaching workshops, judging competitions, and performing for other juggling enthusiasts. Jack is based in Los Angeles. |
